Your Journey

Life is all about relationships & therapy can help.

Our relationships  - with ourselves, with others, and with our higher power/God - are among the most important aspects of our lives.  We’re hard-wired for connection, and healing happens in relationship. By digging into how our earliest relationships shaped us, we can learn a lot about the ways we presently engage with ourselves and others.

Therapy with me offers a warm, intentional, and emotionally safe place to:

  • Heal trauma and impaired self messaging;

  • Develop more intimacy in relationships;

  • Practice caring for and connecting more deeply with yourself in mind, body, and spirit.

I believe a few things really matter in the quest to find a therapist. First, the popular saying “you can’t lead someone to a place that you’ve never been” applies to therapy, too. Which is why my own healing work makes me a better and more grounded therapist. Second, I encourage my potential clients to find a therapist who feels like the right fit for them personally - and to trust their gut! Finally, I believe our emotional growth work never ends. The healing journey is for life long learners, and over the course of our lives, we take many risks to keep blooming. For some, therapy is a short term process to achieve desired healing and gain the tools to better navigate challenging life seasons. For others, therapy is a regular part of their emotional self care. I honor each person’s unique process and witness every day in my office that where there is desire for change- change happens.

The foundations for my approach to therapy are in Attachment Theory, Trauma Informed Care Model, Codependency and Boundaries work, Recovery work, Feelings work, Spiritual Roots System, Internal Family Systems work and Story work.

My post graduate trainings include: EMDR Consulting, Psychodrama Workshop, Grief and Loss Workshop, Spiritual Roots System Training, Mindfulness Certification, and Perinatal and Postpartum Mental Health Trainings. I work with individual women and men.
